Delivery Expectations - Both Letters have a Real Stamp.
USPS First-Class Mail gets your mail there faster. Typically 1-3 days after you put the mail in the mail. We typically use Priority Mail to deliver the package of mail which also takes 2-3 days.
USPS delivery times for Standard Mail are unavoidably inconsistent and can range from 3 to 30 days. Reliable service standards are not available for Standard Mail. There is also no way to track arrival times. With all of this said I and most of our customers use Standard Rate Postage.
Standard Mail does not get post marked therefor the receiver doesn't have an indication that it was mailed from a different area and is mailed for you. First Class Mail is mailed back to you.
First Class Stamps guarantee a return if undeliverable whereas Standard Stamps are do not have that guarantee.
